We were commissioned to design and build an elegant tensile membrane pavilion for the prestigious Serena Hotels chain. The pavilion – dubbed the “Hall in the Garden” – serves as an outdoor banquet and events space. We created a sweeping fabric canopy supported by a steel cable system, covering a large area while maintaining an airy, open ambience. The structure provides all-weather protection (shielding guests from strong sun and sudden rain) and blends with the lush garden surroundings.
Value delivered:
A signature venue that expanded the hotel’s event hosting capacity, with iconic architecture that differentiates the property. The project’s success came from close collaboration with the client’s team, rapid turnkey delivery, and our expertise in engineering a durable structure that meets international safety standards.
Neutral Color Palette:
A minimalist color scheme of whites, grays, and muted tones will dominate. Accents of wood, metal, and glass will be incorporated to add warmth and texture without overwhelming the space.
Furniture and Decor:
Sleek, functional furniture with clean lines will be chosen. There will be minimal decoration, with only select statement pieces such as artwork or sculptures that align with the minimalist aesthetic. Multi-functional furniture (like storage-integrated seating) will be used to maintain tidiness.
Natural Light:
Large windows, glass doors, and strategically placed skylights will ensure an abundance of natural light, enhancing the sense of space and promoting energy efficiency.
