When FXPesa made a decision to move towards hybrid remote work, it needed a place that felt just like an office but more like a destination. The brief was to downsize their footprint without losing their identity, and we leaned into an industrial design theme, peeling off the stiff corporateness to create a space that feels raw, energetic, and authentically collaborative.
It is based on the concept of the “Third Space”, one that fills in the gap between the focus at home and professionalism at the office. This is a layout focused on open working spaces and collaborative zones, turning what was originally a traditional layout into a dynamic hub where motion and spontaneous conversation are encouraged.
Breakout Zone:
At the center of this plan is a play and breakout area. Equipped with a mini-golf station and a foosball game, this place is truly a social hotspot and a great example of how work and play can seamlessly come together.
Custom-Crafted Utility:
In order to meet the need for optimal space utilization, custom-designed furniture pieces have been created in response to the details of the floor plan, such as a granite top kitchen bar and dining benches.
Sustainable Approach:
As a testament to cost-effectiveness and sustainable design, all possible measures were taken to effectively utilize existing glass partitions and doors, seamlessly aligning with the new industrial look.
The color palette is a vibrant and bold mix of brand and natural design pieces. As part of our design, we strictly implemented the brand colors of FXPesa through sticker marketing on office walls and in some of the office phone booths.
To ensure that this theme does not have a heavy impact, we sought to make maximum use of natural light inside the building. By using glass partitions for the private offices, we have ensured that natural light permeates the floor plate so that a light and energetic environment that enhances worker well-being is created.
Beyond moving desks, we moved a culture. By helping FXPesa transition to a hybrid-ready layout, we provided a workspace that is:
Cost-efficient through smart reuse of materials and optimized footprints.
Brand Centric:
Every nook and cranny speaks of FXPesa.
People-Focused:
A place employees want to be; whether focused at a workstation or brainstorming in the breakout lounge.
